The Salior role-play server is meant to be an enjoyable environment for everyone no matter who is playing on it. There is a fine line between what is allowed and what is not allowed. There are two "modes" of role play, which include:
Out Of Character, or OOC, reefers to a person's persona beyond the role play. When talking in OOC, every player is required to be respectful towards other players. Discrimination is not allowed in OOC under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, even if you are just "joking around". Discrimination may result in anything from a warning to a permanent ban from the community.
In Character, or IC, refeers to a person's persona within roleplay. While talking in IC, players are given free reign. Players are allowed to discriminate in character against other characters, as it is a part of role play. While discriminating however, players must be sure to never break the third wall. If role play discrimination is too harsh, or too reminiscent of real world social issues and is perceived as being used for trolling purposes, the perpetrators will be given a warning, and a ban if it continues.
Each game rule has an acronym, which is used by admins to reference it. If a player is banned for breaking a rule, the admin who administered the ban must say in a global admin announcement:
"<Ban reason acronym> <name of banned player> <duration of ban>"
The only reason an admin wont say this in an announcement, is if the admin has been given permission by the server owner or head admin to operate undercover, and not use admin tags. Otherwise, admins must always have admin tags at the beginning of their name, followed by their official admin name, which must never change for the duration of their career.
The Rules Are As Follows:
RDM - Randoming Rule. Players may not kill other players without a ROLE PLAY reason. OOC reasons are not accepted.
NRR - No Revenge Rule. After being killed, a player my not seek out their killers and fight them for this reason.
NMR - Name Rule. This rule is meant to keep the role play enviornment
